Severe Weather Alert this Afternoon

The NWS has issued a Sever Weather Alert for this afternoon. With the present dry soil conditions, any significant storm with lightning could produce numerous outages and some electrical equipment damage.

I would recommend unplugging any sensitive electronic device not plugged into a surge protector to save it from being exposed to potential lightning surges.

If outages do occur, we have Electric and Cable crews on standby to restore service as soon as possible.
